Opening of the latest extension ‘sechzehndreiundvierzig’
A warm welcome and a desire for liveliness? The hosts at the Nesslerhof, Tina and Hermann Neudegger, and the ‘guest whisperer’ team have listened very carefully over the last few years to what guests want for their next holiday at the Nesslerhof. These wishes were the basis for a renovation and new building, for an even more relaxing and diverse holiday resort. A place full of liveliness, full of natural happiness.

We were curious and interviewed host Tina Neudegger. ‘The demand for spacious suites with their own spa was very high among our guests. That's why we have made the suites on the 4th floor of the main building even more luxurious. From now on, they will offer unique views from their large terraces, four of which even have an outdoor whirlpool or sauna.
The highlight is our 194 m2 Rooftop Suite Bergmagie with its 3 x 8 metre pool and a sauna on the south-facing terrace. While swimming, you can take in the unobstructed view of the impressive Grossarl mountain landscape - you won't find anything like it anywhere else,’ says a delighted Tina Neudegger. The popular south-facing double rooms have also been enlarged - here you can watch the sun rise and set from the bathtub.
New splendour with exclusive suites
Other new features in the main building include a spacious culinary area, cosy restaurants, two new terraces - one with gentle morning sun and one with balmy evening sun - a blooming garden full of herbs and plants, a wine room and the cozy hotel bar ‘The Spirit’ with a fireplace for cosy evenings. And of course your car will also find a suitable place, as it can be parked in the new two-storey underground car park, including e-charging stations.
In December 2023, the latest extension, the ‘sechzehndreiundvierzig’ building, will open with exclusive suites in a modern, chic and elegant design. ‘Sixteen and forty-three is the name of the hotel, by the way, because this is the year the Nesslerhof was first mentioned,’ says Tina Neudegger, revealing the secret behind the name of the new building.

Impressive water landscape and spa oasis
Of course, the guests' wishes for the spa did not go unheard. In future, wellness lovers will not only be able to enjoy the charming Adults Only Spa with various saunas and eight relaxation rooms, but also a new, impressive 1370 m² water landscape. The outdoor pool with integrated whirlpool and bubble loungers has been extended to 25 metres. This is framed by a natural swimming pond, the water surface of which has also been increased to approx. 800 m². New relaxation rooms and seating areas as well as a garden bar in the spa complete the wellness experience during your holiday or day spa.
