General Terms and Conditions for the Best Wellness Friends Club
The Friends Club Card of Best Alpine Wellness Hotels, Brixner Strasse 3/4, A-6020 Innsbruck, rewards regular guests for their loyalty and membership. When using the Friends Club Card, the holders receive the benefits described below. Membership is based on the conditions of participation described below.
1. Participating hotels
All member hotels of the hotel association Best Alpine Wellness Hotels participate in the program.
2. Participation in the program
2.1 Conditions of participation
All private individuals who have reached the age of 18 can participate in the Friends Club. Companies, legal entities, other organizations and groups as well as employees of Best Alpine Wellness Hotels are not eligible to participate. Multiple registrations by individuals are not permitted.
2.2 Application for the Friends Club Card
A Friends Club card can be applied for as follows:
- Online registration on the website www.wellnesshotel.com/de/friendsclub
- During a hotel stay at the reception desk
When registering at the hotel, you will receive the Friends Club card directly at the reception. In case of online registration, we will send you the Friends Club card by mail.
The Friends Club card is not transferable. In case of loss of the Friends Club card, the participant must inform Best Alpine Wellness Hotels immediately. Best Alpine Wellness Hotels will then issue the cardholder a new card free of charge upon request, block the lost card and transfer the existing balance to the new card.
When registering, all required mandatory fields (name, correct postal address, e-mail address, etc.) must be filled out truthfully and completely. A valid e-mail address must be provided in order to participate. The Friends Club card is only active and unlimited usable after complete registration.
Changes to the name, postal address or e-mail address are to be made by the holder directly in his/her profile on the website mein.wellnesshotel.com. If this is not possible for any reason, the cardholder may also notify the changes in writing to the head office of Best Alpine Wellness Hotels in Innsbruck, which can then make the changes on his/her behalf.
2.3 Costs
For the use of the Friends Club Card, an annual fee is charged for account management. This amounts to € 1.20 per year until the balance on the card account is exhausted and is only incurred as soon as there is credit on the card.
2.4 Consent to receive newsletters and transactional emails
The cardholder's data provided to Best Alpine Wellness Hotels may be used to send the cardholder communications about the program (general information, personalized information, and advertisements and offers for stays at Best Alpine Wellness Hotels). The user may object to the use of his/her e-mail address for this purpose at any time by sending an e-mail to the following address: info@bestwellnesshotels.at.
2.5 Guest profile / credit balance
The guest profile is exclusively digital and can be accessed via the page (mein.wellnesshotel.com). There the guest has the possibility to create and maintain his guest profile. He can view and change stored contact data. In addition, he has the possibility to specify personal preferences there.
The cardholder is obliged to keep his personal data up to date at all times and to enter any changes in the profile.
The cardholder may not disclose his personal password to third parties and is responsible for the use and secrecy of his access data. As far as the registration is successful, the cardholder gets immediate access to his guest profile.
The current credit balance can be called up at any time on the website mein.wellnesshotel.com by entering the login data. In addition, the credit balance of the Friends Club Card can be checked at any time at the reception in the Best Alpine Wellness Hotels.
3. Friends club card advantages
The possession of the Friends Club card represents the following advantages for the holder:
- 1% cashback on the card for the next stay in a Best Alpine Wellness Hotel, calculation basis is the gross logis cost.
- 1% cashback on purchases made in the Best Alpine Wellness Hotels online store (applies both to the purchase of value vouchers and to the purchase of Balance Alpine 1000+ or other products). This feature is expected to be available starting April 2023.
- Payment for services at Best Alpine Wellness Hotels with the card balance.
- Receiving and taking advantage of regular offers created especially for Friends Club members.
Friends Club card benefits cannot be combined with other special offers of Best Alpine Wellness Hotels.
4. Collection, redemption and expiry of the cashback balance
After paying the bill at a Best Alpine Wellness Hotel, the 1% credit will be added to the Friends Club Card. In order for the credit to be applied, the cardholder must present his/her personal Friends Club card at the hotel or inform the hotel of his/her card number. A subsequent crediting of Friends Club cashback bonuses is only possible within 14 days after the end of the stay in question.
The credit will be credited with 1% cashback bonus for transactions made by the Friends Club member within the scope of his own overnight stay in the room booked by him. For rooms booked and billed by the cardholder himself/herself, but in which he/she does not stay overnight, the cardholder will receive a cashback bonus if the persons staying there are accompanying relatives of the cardholder. Only spouses/life partners, children and grandchildren as well as the cardholder's parents and siblings are considered dependents.
If the Friends Club Cardholder uses a value voucher of Best Alpine Wellness Hotels for payment or partial payment of his/her invoice, he/she will only receive the 1% credit on the remaining amount that was not paid with voucher. This also applies in the event that part of the invoice was paid with cashback - also in this case the cashback will be credited for the reduced amount. Likewise, the cashback bonus will not be granted on other discounts including wellness club discounts.
If the guest becomes a Friends Club member during the current stay, he/she will receive the 1% credit directly to the card upon invoice payment. Crediting of bonus points from stays in the Best Alpine Wellness Hotels, which resulted before the registration to the Friends Club, is excluded.
It is excluded to obtain partial invoices during a continuous stay and thus use the credit to balance the invoice during the same stay.
The accumulated credit may be given and transferred to other Friends Club members. To effect this, the cardholder must contact the Best Alpine Wellness Hotels head office at info@bestwellnesshotels.at or +43 5123 602 610. The accumulated credit will then be debited from the Friends Club card and credited to the Friends Club card of the gift recipient.
The credit expires after 5 years from the date of crediting if the cardholder does not receive another credit or make a redemption within this period.
Credits are not redeemable for cash.
5. Termination of membership
Membership to the Friends Club is not limited in time and runs for an indefinite period, subject to termination.
The cardholder may terminate his/her participation in the Friends Club at any time without giving reasons and with immediate effect by deleting his/her profile and destroying the card or returning it to the headquarters of Best Alpine Wellness Hotels (Brixner Str. 3/4, 6020 Innsbruck). Cancellation will result in withdrawal from the Friends Club customer loyalty program.
The Best Alpine Wellness Hotels are entitled to terminate the membership for good cause without notice and without compensation. Good cause shall be deemed to exist in particular in the event of a breach of the conditions of participation, the GTCs of the participating hotels, the provision of false information and in the event of inappropriate behavior. In addition, Best Alpine Wellness Hotels are entitled to terminate the membership in the event that the customer loyalty program is replaced by another one.
6 Liability
Best Alpine Wellness Hotels is free from any liability towards the member if a service partner does not fulfill a payment obligation and this is not due to culpable behavior on the part of Best Alpine Wellness Hotels.
7. Change of the conditions of participation and the Friends Club benefits
The conditions of participation can be changed in whole or in part by Best Alpine Wellness Hotels at any time. In the case of such changes, the interests or cardholders will be taken into account appropriately. Cardholders will be informed of the changes by e-mail before they come into effect and may object within a period of time. In addition, there is the possibility to cancel the membership at any time. Insofar as the use of the Friends Club Card is continued after the entry into force of the changes without objection, this shall signify the Cardholder's agreement to the new Terms and Conditions of Participation.
It is expressly clarified that the aforementioned benefits of the Friends Club Card may be changed or cancelled in whole or in part at any time.
8. Misuse
In the event of misuse or suspicion of misuse, Best Alpine Wellness Hotels is entitled to deactivate the card immediately.
9. Data protection
The use of the cardholder's personal data is in accordance with the data protection regulations at https://www.wellnesshotel.com/de/datenschutz
10. Miscellaneous
By registering for the Friends Club, the Cardholder accepts these Terms and Conditions of Participation without reservation. The above conditions of participation replace all previous agreements.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation is or becomes invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid clause shall be replaced by a clause that comes as close as possible to the economic intention of the invalid clause. The same shall apply to any loopholes contained in these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
These Terms and Conditions of Participation shall be governed in their entirety by Austrian law, excluding the conflict of laws rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the district court of Innsbruck.
